Founder of San Diego City Church Ministries

George Runyan gave his life to Christ in 1958 and was called to full time ministry in 1960 while in his ninth grade of High School. After preparation he received his ordination in 1973. He was a teacher at Berean Bible College for 7 years where he developed a class on healing and miracles. He holds a Bachelor of Theology and a Master of Theological Studies from Vision International University.

Runyan has planted and helped to plant eleven churches both in the United States and abroad. George has had his own live radio broadcast called "The Logos Hour" and is Founder and Director of City Church Ministries. He is networking with hundreds of pastors and civic leaders throughout the San Diego. He is founder of San Diego Healing Rooms and East County School of Ministry. George is a faculty member of Vision International University and serves on Vision's Board of Regents.

He is also working with ministers from other cities who carry a similar vision for a united church in the locality. George's passion has been to break down the walls of separation between churches, ethnic groups and civil government. George has a strong teaching anointing and ministers strongly in the gifts of healing and prophecy.

He is known for being a pastor of pastors and carries an apostolic anointing in laying foundations both in the life of believers and local churches. He is a primary leader in San Diego in developing a mind set for the church of the locality.

Runyan serves with numerous apostolic teams and travels internationally holding pastor conferences. He provides apostolic oversight for many pastors and local churches both at home and abroad.
